报告摘要:双层镍氧The Mpemba effect (MPE), an anomalous phenomenon where a hotter liquid freezes faster than a colder one, has been observed since antiquity—long before the advent of modern science. Its first systematic experimental investigation in classical systems was conducted in the 1960s by Mpemba and Osborne, after whom the effect is named. Recently, various forms of MPE have been reported across different materials, sparking intense debate. However, a clear theoretical understanding of the effect remains elusive. In this talk, we explore simplified quantum analogs of the Mpemba effect in open quantum systems, focusing on how nonequilibrium environments can facilitate its emergence. Furthermore, we report a similar effect in Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) models and contrast its underlying mechanisms with those observed in quantum dot systems, highlighting distinct physical origins in the two settings.

王烜华, 福耀科技大学助理教授、 特聘副研究员, 于2021在美国纽约州立大学石溪分校获物理学博士学位, 2021年至2022年在纽约州立大学石溪分校进行博士后研究, 2022年加入中国科学院大学温州研究院(现国科温州研究院) 理论交叉科学中心任副研究员, 2025年6月加入福耀科技大学文理学院。 从事非平衡量子统计、 量子信息与引力方面的研究。
